Celebrating Halloween in Colorado Springs

Halloween 2018 in Colorado Springs

Halloween is no longer just a time for costumed children to collect candy. Celebrating the fastest growing holiday in America has become a memorable experience for all ages. We’ve covered three frightfully delightful attractions and events that are guaranteed to make your Halloween 2018 in Colorado Springs one to remember!

Boo at the Zoo

Billed as an adventure starring the “Original Creatures of the Night”, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is keeping its gates open to patrons a little longer for seven nights in October. The most-unique way in the area for children to trick-or-treat, this event promises festive fun for the whole family to enjoy!

In addition to their normal Full Moon Feeding Tours (which take on quite a creepy character during this season), on Sunday, October 28 (4:00PM-6:00PM), the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center is throwing a Halloween event that is sure to be a howling good time. Enjoy a bonfire and festive fare while you watch as the professionals feed their canine companions meat-filled pumpkins to get you in the spirit.

After a one-year hiatus, the Haunted Mines have come back from “beyond the grave” and are open throughout the Halloween season. Get ready to fall “victim” to their newest wave of attractions. If the spine-tingling sensation of traversing the tunnels doesn’t leave you in a state of “Total Terror”, the Hellevator, cemetery mazes, and escape rooms will certainly do the trick. Trust us: this attraction is no treat for the faint of heart!
